Job Description for the Zepto Off Campus Recruitment Drive 2022:
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Work closely with the HOD and will have end-to-end responsibility for consumer demand, experience and growth of the categories
- Create a data-driven long-term product and category roadmap
- Identify new product development opportunities to launch products under current and new brands
- P&L ownership – Revenue and bottom line target
- Develop and bring new products to the market
- Day-to-day prices management in line with market current prices and competitive benchmarks (continuous day-to-day communication with sellers’ management team on optimal purchase prices)
- Coordinate product development with vendors, cost negotiations, product packaging, etc.
- Manage Buying and Marketplace monthly sales plan
- Maintain optimal level of inventory from the sellers at multiple locations
- Drive various input metrics to drive business growth
- Design and implement new processes to help scale business
- Oversee value creation and customer experience enhancement basis the needs of the customers and market analysis
- Identify key national/ regional brands and onboard them on the platform
- Negotiate terms and build the value proposition offered by the platform on price/ catalog etc.
- Monitor buyer performance and takE positive and corrective actions
