Job Description :- Zscaler Off Campus Drive Software Engineer
As a Software QA Engineer, and a member of our System and Solution Test Team; you will be responsible for the cross-functional and system testing of the Zscaler Security Solution.
Like any technology company, we rely on QA to ensure that our products perform exactly as promised. But as a company that provides technology services, based on our own purpose-built global cloud platform, QA has a singularly important role at Zscaler to identify potential customer pain-points ahead of time.
Our customers — including some of the largest global organizations — send all their traffic across our platform, and that’s why QA is out in front at Zscaler, helping to ensure that our services work properly in the cloud and that our cloud, itself, is delivering on SLAs and providing the performance and reliability on which our customers depend.
Job Qualifications for Zscaler Careers
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Software QA Engineer in a networking and security environment.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter, takes initiative & ownership, identifies and completes tasks; goal driven
- Ability to work with remote teams, handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
- Additional preferred skills:
- Strong in computer science fundamentals
- Proficient in Networking fundamentals ( TCP/IP,L3/L7 ) , proxies & load balancers
- Good understanding of database schema, modeling, Rest APIs , Hypervisors and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Mysql and data processing frameworks such as Kafka and Elasticsearch.
- Good skill in scripting languages like Python , bash etc
- Good working exposure on UI/API automation frameworks is a plus
- System Load and Performance testing knowledge
- Demonstrate good debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of Linux system administration , debugging and management is a plus
- Experience setting testbeds in a Virtualization environment is desirable
- Good to have: Knowledge of application deployment tools like Ansible
