Job Description of British Telecom Off Campus Job:-
- Providing (24X7X365) support to Global customers (incl. Out of Hours Support & Public Holidays etc.).
- As a Customer Support Analyst, candidate needs to provide non-technical customer support (Coordination) and handle Simple Service request for different service towers for the BT Standard and Bespoke customers to support business 24x7x365.
- Candidate needs to validate the request for appropriate service tower. Assist and notify stake holders (e.g TDA, CSM & teams dealing with other service towers) as well as inform customer proactively if there is any network related issue or RISK during validation.
- Candidate is required to support project work, migrations, and operations in addition to request fulfilment within Line of Business.
- To be successful in this role, you must be a motivated and quick learner, possess strong problem solving skills, willingness & drive to support customer; and be someone who embraces challenges.
- Job Description :
- Ability to validate, segregate and triage the task raised by customer to different implementation queues.
- Tactful and patient with external end users/customer, BT or customer’s 3rd party and all internal stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Answering user’s queries over the phone, email, Request fulfilment tools/web portal.
- Follow standard procedures to escalate any unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
Responsibilities :
- The day to day activities would include following:
- Double keying information from customer specific ITSM tool to BT Expedio.
- Validate, review and triage the technology specific requests to relevant teams.
- Acknowledge customer about status of request.
- Group mailbox monitoring and acknowledging internal and externals customers.Fetching reports from Expedio and customer’s ITSM tools.
Key skills:
- Good communication-Verbal and Writing
- Good understanding of all aspects of network and technologies.
- Ability to convey technical details coherently
Tools and Other: Tools understanding- Outlook, PPT, Excel, Expedio, BFG and IONIX etc.
ITSM Process: Process Knowledge as per industry best practices e.g. ITILV3.
