Job Description For the MX Player Hiring Analyst-Data & Insights Jobs:-
Key Responsibilities and Accountability:
As the Data & Insights Analyst, this individual will work in the Revenue Strategy domain in the Mumbai (Andheri East) location.
- Support business leaders on conducting Business reviews through data driven business insights
- Drive revenue growth by performing detailed analyses and building sales presentations on a regular basis that help distinguish MXP platform(s).
- Enable advertiser success through data driven optimization of ad campaigns as well as helping execute innovative ad products
- Build business case to convert advertisers by synthesizing information across analytical tools for support in sales proposals.
- Prepare presentations for external PR/ Media/ Board communication and reviews Track digital video industry benchmarks on competitive offerings.
- Monitor and help improve key business health metrics across product lines and functions
- Research advertiser and category performances and monitor key sector trends
- Work closely with Ad Sales, Marketing, Content and Product teams to solve critical problems and improve performance.
- Work with other teams to drive success for large & complex projects.
Skills, Competencies and Required Qualifications
- Overall 0-3 years’ experience
- BE/ B Tech (Computer Science/ Information Technology) or BA/MA in Eco/ Stats / Maths from top colleges
- MBA from top colleges (IIM A/B/C or ISB) only – graduated in 2018-2019
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of 1-2 years in consulting/research firms (serving B2C industries) or data analysis teams in internet start-ups preferred
- Experience of Database querying (SQL) and Programming languages (Java, C#, etc.) is mandatory
- Some exposure to analytical tools (R, Python, etc.) preferred
- Passionate about data and insights, extremely curious, with great attention to detail
- Good communication skills
