Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection, Security Operations Center (SOC) detection, threat analytics, security incident and event management (SIEM), information technology (IT), and operations incident response
- o OR Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud security, threat hunting, or incident response.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, and their security features and services.
- Proficient in using various threat hunting tools and platforms, such as Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Azure Security Center, etc.
- Experience in network and host-based forensics, malware analysis, and reverse engineering.
- Ability to perform data analysis and visualization using tools such as Kusto, Splunk, ELK, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Certifications such as CCSP, CCSK, GCFA, GCTI, or OSCP are preferred but not required.
