Job Description for the KPMG Freshers Recruitment Drive:
Roles and responsibilities
Working as an Analyst in this team, your responsibilities will be:
- Implement designs from the mockups transforming visual compositions into websites (SharePoint 2013)
- Managing content on US Growth and Strategy Portal and Collaborations sites ensuring they are maintained and up-to-date. This includes general site administration and maintenance as well as future re-developments to the site, accurate content migration from one site to another and bulk document uploading.
- Active in ongoing portal improvement plan
- Implementation and management of all permissions. This includes making live, new content areas or sites within agreed timelines.
- Decommission and delete redundant and out of date sites, content or functionality.
- Maintain strong business relationships with the wider US Growth and Strategy site frequent requestors
- Manage toolkits, and ensure process documents are standardized
- Knowledge of how to measure portal successes (web analytics) and analyze data, making recommendations for improvements; this skill would be an added advantage though not a must have
Essential skills required
| Education / professional qualifications B Tech / MBA / M.Com/ PG in Commerce | Prior Experience: The candidate must have 0 to 1 years of relevant experience in a similar role, particularly in a professional services firm/IT company/internal portal/content teams within key technology companies/procurement function |
Project and Team management exposure
- Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and also working as part of a team during larger projects.
- Problem solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity.
- Goal driven – should be focused on helping clients meet their requirements – by developing answers and solutions when client requirement remains unclear / changes, and by providing relevant insights and key questions to fit the client objective.
Technical and behavioral skills
- 0-1 years of experience with content management on the SharePoint 2013 (or above) platform
- Basic programming experience in JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, CSS, .NET
- Experience with SharePoint Designer or other web development tools to code
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint 2013 out of the box capabilities such as web parts and experience in implementing projects on these platforms
- Good understanding of taxonomy and metadata management
- Good working knowledge of all MS Office products. (Word, Power point, Visio, Excel and Project)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of portal and web analytics tools
- Excellent written communication and data interpretation skills, to prepare and present concise reports with actionable insights and recommendations
- Well organized with good prioritization (time management) / workload management abilities
- Proactive work style and ability to work under own initiative
- Strong project management skills along with great attention to detail
- Ability to work in a flexible schedule to interact with colleagues in other time zones around the world
