Job Description For the FIS Hiring Freshers Software Engineer Jobs :-
This role is a part of our MPS – Development Team. Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application.
What you will be doing
- Following best practices / methodologies thorough understanding of the technology road-map, advancement to design/development process and providing innovative solutions
- Plays a key role in resolving technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies
- Works with Tech Leads to ensure that assigned work is completed efficiently, meets business requirements, stays within scope, and is delivered on time
- Responsible for writing Technical documents
- Continually improve quality of development team deliverable and ensures code reviews, unit testing and integration testing is completed efficiently and effectively
- Participate in production deployment of the application components that needs to be implemented and Assisting in the identification, isolation, resolution and communication of problems within the production environment
- An Individual contributor role more inclined towards the Development activities
What you bring:
- Should have minimum 3 years of relevant experience on C Development.
- Good working experience on Unix VI editor.
- Good working experience on SQL server database.
- Good working experience on Shell Script or Perl Script.
Added bonus if you have:
- Knowledge of FIS’ products and services
- Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
- Knowledge of financial services industry
- Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
