ETL developers are responsible for designing and creating the data staging area and all related extraction, transformation and load of data functions in Emerson. After the groundwork has been laid, developers also must test their designs to ensure the system runs smoothly. Furthermore, developers must be experts at taking a big-picture view of a Emerson’s data situation – data modeling. This means developers need to be able to read, analyze and digest what Emerson wants to accomplish with its data, and design the best possible ETL process around those goals.

Qualifications:
Education Background:
- a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or another discipline
- fresh graduate to 1-2 years experience in development
Technical Knowledge:
- Technically capable with some of the coding languages commonly used in ETL development like SQL, any programming languages like .Net

- Strong analytical capability, process-oriented and ability to manage complexity
- Good set of communication skills
- listen to and interpret what the business side wants to see accomplished
