Job description for DXC Technology India Hiring
- Good knowledge in Informatica development with hands on.
- Should be able to lead the ETL team and work with the team to do Designing, building, tuning, troubleshooting Informatica PowerCenter8.X/9.X, 10.X related tasks, informatica cloud.
- Fluent in relational database concepts and flat file processing concepts.
- Must be knowledgeable in software development lifecycles/methodologies.
- Good maturity in understanding the design aspects of the project. Understand business requirements, providing expert knowledge and solutions on Data
- Integration, ensuring delivery of business needs in a timely cost-effective manner.
- Proficient in data analysis, metadata, data quality, audit , design, creating HLD, LLD, Technical specification document (TSD) and Solution Approach documents
- Experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC).
- Provides reviews of deliverables and identifies gaps/areas for improvement.
- Provides/reviews detailed technical specifications
- Adhering to ETL design standards, procedures and best practices in Informatica; creating ETL mapping document, Workflows, sessions, Transformations, implementing business rule as per requirement
- Document all technical and system specifications documents for all ETL processes and perform unit tests on all processes and prepare required programs and script
- Participating in all phases of Data Warehousing like Analysis , requirement gathering and Design and Development of code
- Experience in defect fixing for Production, performance Tuning, code optimization, UAT, Integration and System testing environment.
- Experience in debugging and problem-solving skills.
