What We’re Looking For
You are a scrum master and guardian of scrum teams. You resolve impediments and have influence over the agile processes. You have contributed in everything from coaching teams about agile scrum, facilitated the scrum\SAFe ceremonies, and enabled teams to release potentially shippable software. You have 2+ years of experience working as a scrum master.
Position Overview
As a Scrum Master at Citrix you will be a coach for scrum teams – driving collaboration, driving team work and removing impediments while exemplifying project management skills. You value delivery flow and are a strategic thinker/servant leader who believes in building high performing teams.
Role Responsibilities
- You will promote Agile values, principles, and practices within the teams
- Will facilitate value delivery without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work directly. Foster an environment of trust and collaboration within the team.
- Will facilitate collaboration on a daily basis to remove impediments and reduce risk.
- Will promotes a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation
- Will schedule, manage and facilitate Scrum events and SAFe events
- You will grow agile maturity within development team members as well as product owners, scaling best practices. Encourage greater levels of team maturity through contact coaching and mentoring
- You will build information radiators to ensure proper visibility and transparency between development teams, stakeholders, and the org
- Will help Product Owner in backlog management and ensure the shared understanding of goals, scope and product domain
Basic Qualifications
- You will have at least 2 years as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment
- Have an Engineering Degree(Preferably in Computer Science)
- Have at least 2 years of experience working directly with software development teams
- Have knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- You have a deep understanding of Agile values, principles, as well as Scrum framework
- You have at least 2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master across multiple cross-functional teams
- You have Agile Scrum Certifications (i.e. SAFe SSM, CSM, PMP-ACP, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- You have experience working and managing Atlassian suite tool
- Have experience and knowledge of Kanban framework
- Have excellent facilitation, conflict mediation, and situational awareness skills
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
