Your field of responsibility
As part of the role your responsibilities include:
- Understand business use of Time series data and develop new solutions to make the product use more attractive for business users.
- On-boarding market and transaction data, data normalization, data analysis and build analytics over the data as per user requirement.
- Providing level 3 help to the support team when complex production issues require development input
- Contribute in market data and transaction data pre and post trade analytics.
- Build data quality issue detection, data reconciliation, data monitoring framework.
Your future colleagues
OneTick/Core Technology/IBIT team provides statistical and quantitative analytics for all the major markets across the globe for all the asset classes (Equities/Rates/FX). We capture and store real time and well as historical transactional data and market data. This is used to provide analytics to business users e.g. pre/post trade analytics, back testing quant strategies, volatility, spread computation, Alpha progression, Global Curve plotting, heatmap analysis and so on. OneTick team provides good blend of technology and analytics development work. OneTick’s analytical engine is a stream oriented framework for efficient computations based on time series data.

Your skills and experience
You would be working as data engineer and should possess below skill set:
- Graduate/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related subject.
- Proficient in any time series DBs or relational DBs.
- Hands on Python programming, Shell/Perl scripting along with C++ and object oriented concepts.
- Outstanding analytical problem solving and logical thinking skills.
- Possess effective communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Good to have : Understanding of market data and markets globally.
- Technology Stack :
- C++, Python, Perl/Shell
- OS : Linux, Windows
- DB : Time series DBs, OneTick, SQL
