Job Description
Job Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
– Support R&D IT development/deployment projects
– Works effectively in a mixed environment and uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve the tools services.
– Collect and analyze business demands. Map the requirements to tool functionality and/or usage and provide technical solutions to meet the requirements.
– Liaison with Vendor support to discuss technical requirements, clarify issues, and gather technical support
Key Competencies:
– +5-7 years hands-on experience with software tools deployment, administration and management on Linux-based environments
– Be familiar with different Linux versions (RHEL, CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu)
– Have knowledge and experience on Linux kernal development
– Well skilled in automation and scripting in Python, Linux Shell Scripting, Rest API etc
– Knowledge of one or more Public Cloud Infrastructure like AWS, Google Cloud etc.
– Has knowledge of Virtualization & Container technologies including VMs, Docker, Kubernetes etc.
– Has usage experience on R&D development tools or development working experience in R&D business
