Basic Job Requirements
- Please Note that applicants without C++ experience will not be considered.
- Masters/Doctoral degree in engineering.
- Proven track record in the development of optimised C++ based applications.
- Proven track record in development of real-time image processing pipelines.
- Demonstrable use of C++11, C++14, C++17 concepts.
- Demonstrable use of tools such as OpenCV, CMake, Bash Scripting.
Additional Job Requirements
- Experience in architecting software applications.
- Experience in interfacing hardware components (beyond Arduino and Raspberry Pi).
- Experience in developing using CUDA toolsets, boost libraries, linear algebra libraries (Eigen, etc.).

Job Description of Spookfish Off Campus Drive 2020
The role will involve the use of latest computer vision and machine learning methods, both on the CPU and the GPU, defining an optimal balance between classic computer vision and deep learning, tuned towards real-time use in the inspection of products on pharmaceutical manufacturing lines.
Job Project Specifics
On an immediate basis, a successful candidate would expect to work on the following technologies in the first year of employment:
- Object detection using deep learning methods
- Object classification using classical computer vision and occasionally deep learning.
- Object tracking.
- Stereo camera calibration.
- 3D reconstruction in real-time from multiple camera views.
- Hardware interfacing with motors, solenoids, actuators, cameras, lights and sensors.
Team
You would be working with a team of software developers, embedded systems developers, machine design engineers and electrical engineers. Teamwork is a very important facet, and any successful candidate would need to demonstrate high capability in being an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, working towards complex milestones in a challenging environment.
Work Environment
The setting would be industrial/laboratory like (no cushy bean bags and playstations). We’re here to make a positive difference to the industry, and the candidate must share this passion.
