Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment/repair
- OR Master’s Degree in manufacturing, material, mechanical, electrical, and industrial engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment /repair
- OR 7+ years equivalent experience.
- 2 + years of experience with New Product Introduction process (NPI).
- Experience translating Bills of materials (BOM) into an assembled product as well as change control.
- Experience in utilizing mechanical drawings and specifications in designing manufacturing assemblies.
Other Qualifications:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in systems hardware design and integration.
- Knowledge and experience with server hardware, or equivalent, or data center server and rack hardware.
- Knowledge of server cooling design, power consumption, airflow and hands-on experience in power, airflow and power quality measurements.
- Experience with industry standard benchmarks: SPEC power, IO-Meter, IPC, JEDEC.
- Experience with Intel, AMD and/or ARM based hardware architecture.
- Creo and Cadence Allegro software knowledge.
- Data Center and Cloud Experience.
- Self-motivated, detail oriented individual, must be able to work collaboratively in team environment and across internal divisions and industry Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and Original Design Manufacturer (ODM).
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
