Job Description
Multiple positions available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Design architecture and develop networking and modem software. Develop application and firmware level software in C, C++ and Python. Develop modem software and cellular protocol stack for iPhones. Debug and component verification of network simulator software, C, C++ debugging. Implement testing framework to test complete iPhone cellular protocol stack. Set up Linux servers for installing, running and debugging network wireless software. Communicate daily progress with managers and colleagues. Validate and develop wireless and telecoms software, test cellular technologies. Debug issues across network protocol stack layers, including root cause analysis from logs and metrics. Work with WAN technologies, OpenConfig/gNMI, Cellular Radio technologies, 5G NR, LTE, Exposure to commercial test simulators and test systems such as: Anritsu, RS, Keysight call boxes for lab validation, SQA methodologies
Roles & Responsibilities
- Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Programming using C;
- Embedded software development using C++;
- Scripting knowledge to setup integration systems using Python or Java Script; and
- Operating systems and multithreading programming knowledge;
- Knowledge in networking and communications; and
- Problem solving and ability to debug with various industry debuggers and tools.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in CS or Equivivalent
