Job Responsibilities
- Currently, working with our project team and our Financial Client working with data engineering technologies and platforms to design, develop, and maintain data solutions on the AWS cloud platform.
- In your role as the Project Delivery Specialist II, you will be responsible for Data Ingestion, Data Transformation, Data Pipeline Development, Data Modeling, Performance Optimization, Data Security and Governance, Monitoring and Troubleshooting, Collaboration and Documentation, Cloud Infrastructure Management, and Continuous Improvement
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
- Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes
Qualification Requirements For Deloitte Software Jobs
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience with Data Engineering
- 7+ years of experience with Java, Spark
- 7+ years of experience with Databricks
- 7+ years of experience with AWS
- 7+ years of experience with Kubernetes
- Good Analytical skills
- Good at engaging Business stakeholders and apt at Business engagement and requirement discovery
- Effective communication and listening skills
- Must be willing to live in or relocate to Houston, TX.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred
- Previous Banking experience.
- Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
- Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
- Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
- Excellent Written and Communication Skills
- Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
