Job Description of Luxoft Off Campus Recruitment Drive 2020:
Responsibilities
- Hand on experience in coding preferably in Java, Python or Go Lang and comfortable doing application monitoring instrumentation.
• Experience in administration and support of open source monitoring tools like Prometheus/Zabbix and proprietary tools like Dynatrace/App Dynamics. Strong in dashboarding in Grafana/Kibana.
• Experience in Distributed tracing using tools like Jaeger and instrumentation using OpenCensus libraries.
• Experience in developing and maintaining custom web portals to automate administration tasks, deployment of applications and microservices in containers.
• Familiar with Opensource APM toolsets like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Thanos/Cortex, Telegraf/Node exporters , Inspect IT and Time series databases like Timescale DB/Influx Db/Prometheus.
• Hands on experience in managing elastic search cluster in Linux.
• Experienced in Linux platform and shell scripting. Should be able to troubleshoot and perform installation of opensource toolsets in Linux OS.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools sets like Bitbucket, Jenkins and release process.
• Familiar with docker containers and deployment in Openshift and AWS.
Skills
Must have
Overall Experience : 6 to 8 years
1. 5 to 7 years of relevant APM administration preferably in open source toolsets.
2. 3 to 5 years hands-on working experience coding preferably in Java.
3. Knowledge in Openshift, Elastic Search, AWS would be preferred
4. Must have good communication and writing skills. Able to drive meetings and coordinate different stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Act as technical escalation point for APM operational support.
• Knowledge in Observability and Site reliability engineering concepts.
• Familiar with frameworks like OpenCensus and Open Telemetry projects.
• Familiar with Change management and Incident management controls.
