Job Description For Swiss Re Off Campus Recruitment Drive 2023:
Your main responsibilities are:
- As a member of our technology teams, you should be passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.
Your primary responsibilities include learning the current technology landscape and propose improvements, resolving technical issues, provide hands on configuration support.
- For new solutions, you will be a part of team to build conceptual, logical specifications and deliver all layers of the product solution (people, process, technology, and information).
- You will work with senior technology architects to validate vendor responses, conduct technology assessments, review proposals of 3rd party solutions and resolve appropriate integration requirements within the Swiss Re landscape.
- You collaborate with the product owner, business analysts, and the technical team to discover and synthesize market research, user needs, business requirements, and technical approaches and also verify the correctness and efficiency of the implementations
You will have strong bias towards action; ability to learn fast and step up into team gaps and ambiguous situations to help structure the team’s action plan
About you:
As a successful candidate for this role, you possess or in the process of obtaining
- University degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or comparable education/ experience) with knowledge in software development for designing and implementing technical solutions while taking into consideration business objectives, people change impacts and various technologies
- Software development experience is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills, reasoning ability and deep problem solving and technical knowledge with an interest to learn cloud solutions preferably in Azure cloud stack
- A passion for technology and curious attitude to learn integration technologies for Software-as-a-Service or standard of the shelf solutions
- Good knowledge of an Agile environment
- Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a demeanour to clearly articulate the technical topics to a non-technical audience
