Job Description for Google Off Campus Recruitment Drive 2022:
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Manage the customer’s problems through effective diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of investigation tools to increase productivity for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Google’s product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause for customer reported issues, and building tools for faster diagnosis
- Act as a senior consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in Engineering, Sales, and Customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud
- Drive the success of Google Cloud by understanding and advocating for our customers’ issues
- Work as part of a team of Engineers/Consultants that globally ensure customer support. This will include a need to sometimes work non-standard work hours, shifts, or a rotation on weekend work
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
- Government G50 CAT-1 Security Clearance with industry experience working in Government, dealing with sensitive/classified workloads
- Experience reading or debugging code using Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, etc.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting Kubernetes infrastructure
- Master’s degree or MBA in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in helping integrate processes between Google and external parties designing systems, tools, and workflows that help Google work with external parties
- Experience implementing projects in a demanding, change-oriented, fast-paced environment requiring a degree of deadline-driven productivity
- Experience with best practices in business operations, service operations, and/or customer support operations
- Ability to work with team members to design processes and implement strategic projects that solve business problems
- Ability to execute in a customer focused environment and advocate for partners and customers with a cross-functional team
