BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates having 1-4 years exp. preferably in python, Bash, DevOps, C/C++/Java in a Linux environment. The candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, be a fast learner, and have the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced development environment.
- The AWS Enterprise Engineering team is searching for a System Development Engineer with experience building and supporting highly scalable distributed systems.
- We leverage AWS technologies to operate on a global scale and deliver low-latency, highly-available services to enterprise customers. The AWS Enterprise Engineering organization is tackling new challenges to improve security, manageability, enforce compliance, and reduce operational cost via AWS-hosted services.
- We’re looking for a System Dev Engineer who’s self-driven, able to deal with ambiguity, passionate about giving customers the best possible experience and comes with strong Systems fundamental
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven object-oriented design and implementation skills, preferably on Unix/Linux platform
- Experience automating software deployments and following a continuous delivery and deployment model
- Experience with agile software development methodologies
- Proficiency in more than one high-level programming language: Ruby, Python, Perl, or Java
- Experience with system analysis and troubleshooting in large-scale Linux environment
- Strong understanding of modern database technology, experience with AWS database products such as DynamoDB.
